NXJG Wedge-Shaped Insulated Tension Clamp

NXJG wedge-shaped insulated tension clamps are specialized wedge-shaped tension clamps for overhead insulated conductors. Belonging to power line hardware, they are primarily used at the terminals, corners, and branch towers of overhead distribution lines to secure and tighten insulated overhead cables, bearing the full tension of the conductor and achieving tension anchoring of the conductor on the tower. They are the most commonly used guy wire anchoring hardware in urban and rural power distribution networks and rural power grid upgrades.

Wedge-shaped Insulation Body:High-strength insulating composite material (reinforced plastic) with multiple reinforcing ribs and an internal wedge-shaped locking structure. After the conductor is inserted, it automatically wedges and tightens due to tension, without hydraulic crimping; it relies on mechanical self-locking to secure the cable. The end ring is used to connect the guy plate, insulator, and tower mounting point.

Galvanized Guy Plate Bracket: Two hot-dip galvanized steel bent brackets, equipped with bolts and anti-loosening cotter pins at both ends, clamp and fix the wedge-shaped body. The bolts at the other end of the bracket are used to connect to the tower hardware and extension rods. The overall design features high tensile strength and is rust and corrosion resistant.

Locking end accessories: Black end limit plug + fastening bolt, assisting in limiting the depth of wire insertion and preventing cable slippage.

Easy installation without hydraulic crimping tools; wire laying, threading, and bolt tightening are all that's needed to complete the installation, significantly reducing the difficulty of field construction; The main body has built-in insulation, eliminating the need for additional insulation sleeves and reducing the risk of line leakage and phase-to-phase short circuits; The entire bracket is hot-dip galvanized, and the insulated body is resistant to sunlight, rain, and low-temperature aging, suitable for long-term outdoor service; Equipped with cotter pins for anti-loosening, the wedge-shaped self-locking structure resists the reciprocating wind vibration and pulling of the wire, making it less prone to loosening; Lighter than traditional aluminum alloy tension clamps, reducing the load on towers. 

III. Precautions:

The model must be matched to the conductor cross-sectional area; wire diameter that is too large or too small will cause clamping failure; During installation, ensure the conductor is fully inserted into the wedge groove, tighten the bracket bolts to the required torque, and install the cotter pin; Strictly prohibited for use with bare conductors under high tension for long-distance power transmission; only suitable for overhead insulated distribution conductors.
