Generally, high-quality low-carbon cast steel is selected, offering excellent mechanical strength to withstand long-term tensile loads on the line. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing for corrosion protection, resisting outdoor rain, snow, and salt spray corrosion, significantly extending its service life in outdoor environments.

Commonly used to connect insulator strings and tower crossarms, as well as various matching power fittings. The upper bowl-shaped slot can hold the ball head of the insulator, and the lower round hole secures the other end with bolts, constructing a suspension link for transmission lines. It is suitable for high-voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines, substation outdoor structures, and is compatible with porcelain insulators and composite insulators. It is widely used in 10kV and above-level overhead power projects.

The upper bowl-shaped slot has a certain adaptation margin, allowing for slight adaptation to line sway, buffering stress from wind vibration, and reducing the probability of fatigue fracture at the connection.

During construction, the design tensile force of the line must not exceed the product's nominal destructive load of 70kN; a safety margin must be reserved. Verify the integrity of the galvanized layer; products with large areas of peeling or incomplete galvanization are not recommended for outdoor use. M16 hot-dip galvanized bolts and anti-loosening nuts must be used for the lower round hole to prevent loosening during long-term operation. The line must be placed according to the direction of force application; lateral force should be avoided to prevent deformation of the mounting slots.
